Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce

The Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW) is an independent, nonprofit organization that is associated with the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy.  CEW conducts research in three core areas with the goal of better aligning education and training with workforce and labor market demand: jobs, skills, and equity. Much of CEW's research centers on deficiencies in higher education opportunities for members of historically disadvantaged and marginalized groups, including Black people, Latinos, Indigenous Americans, women, and low-income students. CEW believes that the nation cannot thrive with an education system that underserves large segments of the population.
